A journey through five cuisines and a pantry, where each line expresses a different way of interpreting taste, material, and beauty.

Just as cuisine explores unexpected flavors and combinations, from renowned chefs to home cook, textiles bring together knowledge, experience, culture, and experimentation. Innovative materials and techniques blend to create harmonies of color and texture. Like an exceptional restaurant, Balli il Lanificio offers an authentic experience in which every client becomes the chef of their own style, free to choose the “ingredients” that reflect them best.

Fabric is served

Gastronomic culture meets textile art

At the start of a new season that calls for creativity and vision, Fabric is Served returns to the essence of material. Through a refined and conscious approach, we translate the language of cuisine into shapes, colors, and textures.

Each line of the SS27 collection offers a key to interpreting the hidden “taste” within every fabric, a taste found in fiber quality, treatments, hand feel, and the ability to evoke sensory emotion.

There are pure, silky fabrics recalling the delicacy of gourmet cuisine; crisp, visual textures inspired by the energy of street food; and innovative technical materials that echo molecular experimentation. Designs, colors, and finishes suggest spices, ingredients, and recipes, not to imitate food, but to reveal what fashion and cuisine share: materiality, creativity, and memory.

A fashion experience to be lived

Fabric is Served is a journey through five textile cuisines and a pantry: from gourmet precision to renewed tradition, from the urban energy of street food to molecular experimentation, all the way to a fusion of influences and character.
